FAQ
Questions, answered.
What does ResearchOS save?
Workspaces save their research runs, evidence trails, papers, and writing profiles. Unfiled work is temporary.
Can I review the source behind a claim?
Yes. Evidence records connect the claim to source excerpts, tool calls, and the trace step that produced them.
Can I write from more than one research run?
Yes. Choose the saved runs and sources you want represented before generating a cited paper.
Can I expand a saved draft?
Yes. Continue a saved paper with a new word target or revision brief. The earlier version stays saved.
How do credits work?
Research and writing reserve credits before a run, then reconcile against actual usage. Packs do not expire and memberships refresh monthly.
Does ResearchOS replace source review?
No. It makes source review easier by preserving provenance. You should still evaluate evidence for your assignment or research context.
